Invitation - The Pensions Board is hosting a number of seminars in relation to “Registered Administrators”.

From 1 November 2008 the trustees of every pension scheme including trust based RAC schemes must appoint a registered administrator to provide various services to the scheme known as “core administration functions”. The “core administration functions” are the preparation of annual reports and annual benefit statements for the trustees and the maintenance of sufficient and accurate records of members and their entitlements to discharge the above functions.

The seminars will provide an opportunity for the Board to outline the approach to be taken to the registration of administrators. There will also be an allotted time for a question and answer session at the seminars.

There are three options for attending the seminar, each of which will last approximately two hours.

Option 1 – Davenport Hotel, Merrion Square, Dublin – 11th June 2008, 10am - midday

Option 2 – Davenport Hotel, Merrion Square, Dublin – 11th June 2008, 2pm – 4pm

Option 3 – Imperial Hotel, Cork – 12th June 10am-midday.
