Public consultation on the future of defined contribution pensions

The Pensions Board is holding a series of public meetings to discuss the issues contained in its recently published consultation paper on the future of defined contribution pensions. The consultation document is available in the Related Documents section.

The details for the public meetings are:

Monday 30 September 8.00am to 12.45pm – The Marker Hotel, Dublin 2    

Thursday 3 October 1.30pm to 5.30pm – The Imperial Hotel, Cork

These meetings will be relevant to trustees, scheme members, providers, managers, advisers and other interested stakeholders.

To facilitate thorough discussion of the issues raised in the consultation, breakout sessions will be held during the meetings which will consider:

·         Trusteeship and Regulation

·         Investment

·         Disclosure/Information

·         Value for money

Bookings:

To reserve your place at either the Dublin or Cork event please complete the booking form, which can be found under related documents on the top right of this page, and e-mail the form to mbroderick@pensionsboard.ie by Friday 6 September. You should also indicate on the form your order of preference for the breakout discussion sessions. If it is not possible to accommodate your first or second preference due to booking numbers, we will allocate you to another session.  As places are limited bookings should be made as soon as possible.

For multiple bookings please provide these details in respect of each individual for whom a place is being booked.
